Deion Sanders

Deion Luwynn Sanders was born on 9 August 1967 in Fort Myers, Florida, and developed into an exceptional multi-sport athlete at Florida State University, excelling simultaneously in football and baseball, before being drafted into both the NFL and Major League Baseball, an unusual dual-sport path that would define much of his subsequent professional career.

Sanders became one of the most electrifying cornerbacks in NFL history, known for his exceptional speed, ball-hawking instincts and flamboyant personality, earning the nickname 'Prime Time' and becoming widely regarded as one of the greatest defensive backs in the sport's history, while simultaneously maintaining a genuine professional baseball career as an outfielder.
